A month before leaving for our Mexican vacation, my now-wife and I decided to get married while we were there.
After doing some research, we became overwhelmed by what seemed like a very complicated process, and began looking for a wedding planner.
We must have sent out about fifty emails and made nearly twenty phone calls. Morgan Levi called us immediately.
As soon as we spoke to her, we knew we wanted her at the wheel. Morgan is very laid-back, fresh, professional and honest, and took care of every single detail.
She arranged for a technician from the lab to come to our resort to complete the blood-work, was patient with us as we gathered, scanned and sent our paperwork, and checked in with us frequently.
She took the time to get to know us and learn our preferences, and never made us feel awkward, even though some of our details were a little unconventional!
She arranged a romantic and peaceful kayak tour complete with a picnic styled lunch for the morning of our wedding, allowing us a relaxing and tranquil time with the land before we made our vows.
The day after our wedding, she got up early to personally drive us to the ruins at Tulum, where even the locals asked us her name and commented to us that she was such a kind person.
She understood our budget limitations, and still managed to arrange everything we requested beautifully, even providing us with an amazing photographer who got our photographs to us in only five weeks!

We planned our wedding in Tulum at the end of April, 2011, and Morgan and the whole team at Playa Azul help to make it a fantastic experience. While we did not get married at Playa Azul itself, most of our guests stayed there and Playa Azul hosted our rehearsal dinner.
Yeye and the team at the front desk paid personal attention to each of our guests, helped us to keep track of who was coming (and who had forgotten to pay their deposits), and even distributed welcome bags to the rooms of each of our guests. Most of all, Morgan helped to plan a spectacular welcome dinner the night before our wedding.
It was a BBQ out on Playa Azul's beautiful private beach, and the custom menu featured all local Yucatan cuisine (including a full roast pig for the cochinita pibil and a chicken escabeche that marinated for four days).
At very reasonable prices, they exceeded our expectations every step of the way.
